Easylite Integrated Lighting Systems (ILS) Control Strategies

The Easylite ILS has developed modular, flexible control strategies which can be used as building blocks for single control applications or implemented together to achieve more sophisticated facility lighting applications. Control options include:

• Touch Control Dimmers - Provide local control for users in a space to set their desired light levels. Our dimmers can be connected together for multiple control points in larger areas.
• Daylight Harvesting - When developing a daylighting facility design or identifying existing areas which have an abundance of natural, ambient light there is a tremendous opportunity to harvest this light source and save the associated energy by dimming the light system in those areas. Our Daylight Harvester provides an effective, automatic control system to support this application.
• Occupancy Sensing - The Easylite ILS interfaces with multiple types of occupancy sensing and enables dimming and on/off strategies in intermittently used areas.
• Facility-wide, centralized control - Easylite offers multiple software options for controlling lighting zones throughout an entire facility. You can select either Easy-Talk, our lighting management software or our BACnet bridge and control options which allow the Easylite ILS to be integrated with any BACnet compatible facility management software.
• Either of these approaches can be used various control applications including:
  • Peak Demand Load Shedding
  • Time of Day (TOD) Scheduling
  • Light Level Correction
• Integrate and control non-Easylite lighting fixtures including incandescent and compact fluorescent systems.
