Easylite
Integrated Lighting System (ILS) Controls
The
Easylite ILS allows tremendous flexibility in developing strategies
for local, automatic, and central (software) control. This section
provides an overview of the available control options:
Daylight
Harvester
Touch Control Dimmer/Fader
Link-Easy
Switch Closure Interface (SCI)
Low Voltage Cables
Power-Link
Occupancy Sensors
Daylight
Harvester
The Easylite Daylight Harvester is a ceiling mounted photo-sensor/controller
which sets and maintains a configurable light level in an area.
It operates in conjunction with the Easylite dimming ballasts as
part of the ILS. The sensor may be mounted either in the ceiling
grid or on the lower surface of an indirect fixture. The slimline
controller connects the Daylight Harvester to the control system
and may be mounted either in the ceiling plenum or in the ballast
channel of a fixture within 18" of the sensor.
Daylighting
is a growing trend with architects and lighting consultants for
both the environmental and economic benefits. The Easylite Daylight
Harvester is an excellent, affordable option to leverage the benefits
of the sun in your facilities.

Touch
Control Dimmer/Fader
Our Touch Control Dimmer Switch gives you the flexibility of fingertip
light level control for your Easylite ILS and ballasts from a single
or multiple parallel-wired switches. The Parallel Dimmer gives you
full light level adjustment from 10% to 120% of full light output
as well as on/off control for any lighting circuit.
In
addition to the local control capability, our Touch Control Dimmer
will also fit in with your local color scheme with its STD "Decora"
pattern available in all standard colors.

Link-Easy
The Link-Easy is an electronic control module that provides the
user with the ability to modify an existing Easylite dimming zone.
The Link-Easy can be used to isolate a space (a sub-zone) in a larger
zone such as a conference room or executive suite that may require
local control such as Daylight Harvesters or Dimmers. This sub-zone
control can be accomplished quickly and cost effectively with the
Link-Easy. No power wiring is necessary as the Link-Easy is also
powered by our ballasts.
The
Link-Easy can also provide override capabilities in a ILS zone for
a pre-set time period. This feature provides lighting for off-hour
employees and maintenance staff without operating the entire zone.

SCI
- Switch Closure Interface
Our SCI provides dual level control of up to 70 Easylite ballasts
in response to opening or closing of a switch. The SCI enables both
bright and dim light levels which are set using the adjustable potentiometers.
The
SCI integrates with the Easylite ILS and allows the light level
to be controlled by input from a local control (Dimmer or Daylight
Harvester) or our Easy-Talk lighting management software. Several
parallel switches may be connected to one SCI to provide activation
from multiple locations.

Low
Voltage Cables
Easylite Low Voltage Cables are used to connect our dimming ballasts
and control devices within an Easylite ILS. Our "plug-and-play"
wiring system eliminates the need for circuiting of lighting zones
at the power panel and replaces line voltage wall switches greatly
reducing installation and overall system cost. Our cables are plenum
rated and available in a variety of standard lengths. Custom lengths
are available upon request.

Power
Link
The Power-Link relay module allows low voltage control of any 20
Amp AC circuit and integration into the Easylite ILS. With the Power-Link
you can provide on/off control of incandescent lighting circuits
or other electrical loads.

Occupancy
Sensors
The Easylite ILS interfaces with multiple types of
occupancy sensing and enables dimming and on/off strategies in intermittently
used areas.
